Anyone have/shoot RMF thumbhole target stock

I'm thinking of tweaking one of these for a Savage ML build. From the pictures, it looks like it has a cut/slot above the thumbhole that allows this to be gripped like a non-TH stock (like their Dual Grip). That would really make this the best of both worlds. Can anyone confirm this?
