how do the a5 and a4 models handle on the rear bunny ears?

Im sure there are tons of them! I dont know about the a4 but it has basically the same back end as the a5. I have a couple a5's and they are very stable.

My A5 is like a rock. I actually have a prototype rest right now I am reviewing and it is better than bunny ears. Cant give details right now though.
