Jay, are you talking about the 300 RUM Federal brass that caused a stir a few months back? If so, I also would be quite interested in any report. How has it compared to the Remington brass?

Yes, that is the brass I am interested in hearing about. A number of people were ordering it and then the thread just died.

I ordered a 250 piece lot. Looks like a good bunch. The only thing I have done sofar is measure the water capacity of a few cases. I must tell you that I necked them down to .284 to fire in my factory 7 Ultra. The capacities are as followed;
1) 112.9
2) 112.7
3) 113.2
4) 113.0
5) 113.1
6) 112.9
7) 113.0
8) 113.0
9) 113.1
10) 112.8
11) 112.8
12) 112.7
13) 113.0
14) 112.9
15) 112.9
16) 112.9
17) 113.3
18) 113.3
19) 113.0
20) 112.2
The Hi is 113.3 and the Lo is 112.2. The average is 112.935grs of H2O. It also looks like a 215 primer is used and sealed. Maybe someone else has measured wall variations.
