Lost my post, so starting over( in case a double shows up) Just rcieved a savage long range hunter in 6.5 cm and love it. Only brass avail was fac. Loaded hornady 120 a-max and it shot easy sub moa. Only bullets at fisrt wedd nos cust comps in 140.(not complaining, just wanted to start lighter) To my suprise, my first 3 shot group with reloads measured .125", and yes I used my glasses. Noslers over 43.5g varget. Also this was shots #10, 11, and 12 right out of the box. After shooting that group I promptly went home so I couldn't screw it up. Since then I found berger 120g bt target and 130g vld target, alo nm g with some hornady 123g a-max. Hpoe to get back soon and I hope this beginers luck continues. Really pleased with savage and hornady for the great stuff. Also nosler. Good luck with your new build and hope you have as good a time as I have. Spring in wi. has been very snowy and cold, but the f-class shoots in eau claire should start soon. Vld's will be tossed down range like a high tech snowball fight. Thanks for letting me vent Bla, bla, bla Lessdrop Whoa, hold up! I meant to say 35.5 grains varget. Dagn dislexsai
