IMR4895 is what I ran in my old 308 which always shot good with it. I also tried another 2 loads above max and one produced good results that I'll also retest. The reason I went above max is the max posted load for IMR4895 was only a 50thou psi load. Still has some pressure left on the table and where I was at I still had no pressure issues.

[QUOTE="Wachsmann, post: 2277106, member: 10429"] So I ran by sportsman's today and I need to stand corrected I tried to find in the speer manual the RL 26 data load that I thought I seen but I must have been looking at something else or another 7mm of some sort or a 7mm-08 Ackly but the fasted load for a heavy bullet (7mm-08) was RL19. There was also a reloading magizine there that had load data and maybe that's where I seen or a thought I seen the 7mm-08 data. But what I remember it also had RL23 data too for the same 7mm. So it makes me think I was looking either at another 7mm of some sort or a 7mm-08 ackly data. But the RL19 was the fastest for a 160ish bullet except for 6.5 staball which I have found to produce the highest speeds I seen so far. Now with that said I was shooting this morning and tried some IMR4895 which produce a 1/2 MOA group mag length of 2.825. I dont know the speed yet but I'm going to retest. IMR4895 is what I ran in my old 308 which always shot good with it. I also tried another 2 loads above max and one produced good results that I'll also retest.
