Well some of you know that I've had this little project going on and it has really tried my nerves! now it's about time to enjoy or at least hope that I enjoy the world of SP's

I still have to go in and throat the chamber to get the COL I want but this weekend I hope if the weather holds to make it go boom, I'll have to load the rounds .080" shorter but hey I'll get it on paper and have a somewhat idea of how she is going to shoot. Enough talk here's some SP porn for ya :D

Here she is before she could see:

Here we go after I mounted the scope, it's not perm yet as soon as I get the bolts ground to the right length I'll give em' a touch of blue Loc-Tite and snug everything up:

I'm sure some of you have seen this break before if not this would be the muscle break that Jim See from Center Shot Rifles makes and I'm told that that riflescope is not going to come in contact with my head right Jim?

And here's a little compairison of rounds, the one on the left is the 7WSM, center 308 and that itty thing on the right is a 223:

Fella's keep your fingers crossed for me that all goes well and I get this out this weekend and all goes great. Hope you guys like it and if not well that's fine too :D Later,

Neal I'm working on a list for you, don't fret it's nothing TOO bad :D

Right now the grip feels fine, a touch small but then again I've got pretty good sized hands. I'll get a better clue as to what I think when it goes boom! I still haven't gotten the bedding done and work has had me going so I just got some extra washers for the action screws today. I'll give you a report. Later,

Kirk

Yes this one was a 243 plain ol' Savage Striker.

Not hard at all! I used a SSS trigger took longer to get the old mess of a trigger off than to put the new trigger in. It's pretty easy, the feel is different but I think in the long run the better trigger will help me out at the range and it just feels better on the bags so far. Later,

Kirk

That is a film dip and funny you should mention but it's called red boa. Might have to ask Jim See at Center Shot Rifles who did the work cause to tell you the truth I don't know. Later,

Kirk
