We've been known to take a long shot if there's no way to get closer. While hunting sheep your in grizzly country as well so most hunters us some sort of 300 magnum. My personal sheep rifles are a 30gibbs and a 300h&h Ackley Imp. I'll post a pic or 2 of rams that were taken at 500+ yds.When I figure out how two of course!
