I have noticed some shooters turn their leupold flip covers to were they end up open to the side. Mine tightens up at 12 o'clock, is there a way to change that. My scope has adj. objective at the front-thinking it might be easier to work if it were off to the side.

open the cap and you will see the center piece is kind of knurled or notched . hold the cap in the position you want and turn the knurled piece to tighten . Jim
