Look at the data for the 26 Sherman Mag. Close cousin for the 6.5-300 and a bunch faster, with same bullet. You will find slower powders don't do as well with Absolutes. (I did have a 30" barrel)

You need to try a faster powder I was at 3314 fps with H4350 in my 6.5x284N

Mr. George, how about the VV N550 . I'm running the 151AH at 3267 out of my 06 20" barrel. Only problem I encountered was it is very heat sensitive , shows pressure in 80 plus degrees and none around 65 degrees. Anyone else have this problem with N550?

VIT N550 is about .5fps increase per degree. If you can use H4350 it's .04fps increase.

I will check the load data on the AH data, I do not think H4350 will give me the speed to get to the range I want to shoot this bullet out of a 20" barrel. I wanted at a minimum 3,300 FPS but do not now believe it is possible from what I have experienced so far. Probably a moot desire . Wishful thinking is not reality!

Overall, some increase in speed over N560, but still not where I want to be especially considering the pressure signs. Given that this is the 3rd rifle in which the 123AH has not met velocity expectations, I see little sense in wasting additional powder on this endeavor. But, since I have 50 left, I'm open to suggestions.

Gun may not like the bullets.
And you said other guns didn't like them.
I was getting those speeds from 127LRX.
