    Good day everyone,

Just wondering, those who have single shots. When you're setting up for your shot: how do you set up and what routine do you use to quickly get a second round in if required? How quickly can you get a second round in and ready to shoot?

    Cheers

At long range, you have plenty of time. If you missed your first shot, you will need to re-calc your hold. Figuring out what went wrong with your first shot takes a lot longer than simply opening the bolt and dropping another round in. Don't even worry about it.

The one thing I love about a single shot is, you don't have to worry about feeding problems. Nothing's worse than hanging a shell up when cycling.

I don't really worry about my reload speed, I've done a bit of practicing (check out my single loading the shotgun at the end of this video) :D:D:D

    Thanks,

I actually wore a shotgun out learning to do that. I wore it out over a winter by simply dry fire practice with dummy rounds! I cycled it so many times, the bolt races were wearing down enough to bind the bolt! I don't know how many 10's of thousands of reps!
