Here is a pair of SS M700 .300 Win Mags I put together this winter. They are well built, albeit still factory sticks, that would suit any "medium" longrange hunter just getting started. I used the one up front as a "stand" rifle this year to take six deer from 75-340 yds, all one shot each. It is a factory tubed M700 with a McMillan Mountain Rifle stock, Farrell bases, Burris rings and a Leupold 3.5-10x40 Tactical.
The one in back is a M700 SS Sendero in a McMillan HTG stock, wearing NF 20 MOA Bases, Warne rings and a 3.5-10x40 Leupold Tactical.
Both guns have factory triggers tuned to 2# and are pillar and skim bedded with Marine-Tex. I haven't fired the Sendero yet, but I have a bag of Lapua brass ordered from Bruno's and a couple boxes of 190gr SMKs, so stay tuned...I may even post some groups...
