9.3-74 et 9.3-62??

Hi everione.

Those caliber are not fit for longrange hunting but is someone have info on them? A guy told mi it would be good caliber for moose hunting if keeping disntace short(200yrd about)? He push for 9.3-74 for "long time runner".
He seem also to be the only guy at the club to know the caliber....
 
I know of the 9.3X57, 9.3X62, 9.3X64, 9.3X66 (Sako) and 9.3X74R.

The R was rimmed and for use in doubles and drillings. The caliber is still popular in Europe and there are quite a few still in use here in South Africa.

As I understand the ballistics are similar to the 9.3X62 (although data would not be interchangeable).
