I shoot a 25-06. I loaded some of the 87gr Speer Hp TNT's but haven't had a coyote to shoot at yet. Has anyone used these bullets on Coyotes. In theory they should not make an exit hole as they disintegrate inside.
If this holds true then this is the dream load for Coyotes. But I think that if the Coyote is close enough this bullet might make a hole the size of a football.
Has anyone used these bullets on Coyotes? If so what are the results?
I live near the mountains in Alberta and we have more wolves than Coyotes.

Any replies will be greatly appreciated.

I used them for quite a few years in my 25-06 (70's Winchester M70). I pushed them with 56.0 grns of H4350 at 3400fps.

I have since moved to Nosler 85grn BT since they seem to be a little more consistent.
