Ran a seating depth test today.
5 shot groups with Garmin
33 grains Varget
.015 off 3191avg 2nd best group
.030 off 3180 avg best grouping
.045 off 3189 avg garbage
.060 off 3188 avg garbage

Then ran pressure test with Varget
33.5 3243
33.6 3247
33.7 3242
33.8 3257
33.9 3265
34.0 3270
34.1 3278
Last few loads were compressed
No pressure signs on any shots

Then I did two 3 shot groups

33.5 3210, 3228, 3236 ok group

34.0 3275, 3278, 3277 great ES SD for three shots anyway group was junk

I'm going to load some groups around 33-33.2. Should be around 3180-3200. Hopefully will group better.

Not bad at all for speed. I think for the price these are going for I can still shoot 80 grain Berger flat base cheaper and faster (h4895) in 28" and slightly slower than you in my 16.5". The bc is way better in these but $50 or so after tax, if you can find local, or way more if paying sales tax and shipping I'll stick with the Berger.

I hope they end up shooting well for you.

I'm not a Berger fan by any means. I have more red box bullets than anything else. I was impressed by Berger when I bought a new box of the 80 grain fb to replace my 10 year old box the base to ogive measurement was exactly the same!

Not sure what your powder cache is like but if you happen to have h4895 you may want to give that a try with these bullets.
