In my experience with Barnes bullets, they shoot best when loaded .050" - .090" off the rifling. This also keeps the cartridge short enough to fit into the magazine.

My 7STW shoots great with the 160gr Accubond loaded .005" off the rifling. I use a max charge of H1000 (Nosler book) and a Fed 215M primer. 1" groups @ 200yds are the norm. I have experienced no pressure problems with this load in my rifle. Your mileage may vary. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Mikael, I am shooting Barnes Triple shock 140,.050 off the lands, H 4831-76.5 Grains, STD DEV. 12 and 1/2 inch at 100 at 3457 fps. Not max. but in a node.
