I used ADI2217/H1000 federal 215 primer federal brass, 73 grains gave 3067 fps from a 26" barrel. Been used successfully out to 630 yds on game.
Other powders I seen used are retumbo and R 22.

My 7 RM is a rem 700 BDL custom deluxe and it shoots the 162g amax awesome with 61g of RL-22. Win case, Fed 215, 3.440" (at the lands) 2850-2900fps, 1/2 MOA.
If I push it any more with RL-22, groups open up. Slow yes, but the buck I killed at 800 yards a couple years ago didn't seem to care.
Did just a smidge of testing with Retumbo at 70, 71.5, and 73, velocities were 3000, 3085, and 3175 respectively, but groups were in the .8"-.9" range. All 3 were nice triangular groups, could probly fine tune it and get it to 1/2 MOA, but I haven't.
I'd work up carefully with the Retumbo as they are on the warm side, 71.5 and 73 in my rifle anyways.
