75gr bergers in mag.

Have you considered the 70g TTSX? I followed this thread when you first asked the question but you got advice from Kevin and he knows more than most. I have been running the 70g TTSX in my AR for hunting for about 8 months now. Very accurate bullet and does a number on game.
I have been thinking about the 62 grain TTSX. How well has the 70 worked for you.

So you make a VLD mag and can load to 2.37, how much performance gain does that give you, any idea?

Say 2 more grains of powder case capacity? 100-150 fps? Can you laod an 80 Gr 223 AMAX? :D

Basically, will it get me much more than I have now, or is it only a marginal gain?

If I can only load a 75 Gr AMAX to a lower velocity, it won't get me any more than a 75 BHTP. Now, If I can load a 75 Gr AMAX and still push 2700 fps from it, we are talking.
