One of my best friends has a few Pawn Shops here in town and he gave me a call to ask me about, I think he said a 702 Remington in .3006. he told me it looks like a 700 and not the
poor excuse for a rifle they manufacture. (770)I was in the area so I gave it a good look the only thing
missing was the box, He bought it for $225.00. It has never been blued any person could tell
all the letters were sharp and the stock had not one scratch. the previous owner must have
had this Rifle oiled and never used it. there was an old Simmons 3x9 looking through it was not clear as we know it.
Can any parts from a 700 be used if need be? `And is this model a keeper?
I know the limits of the 700 but what about this model?

    Never heard of such.

But........I wonder if it might be an Ed Brown rifle?????

His action looks pretty similar to the 700 and usually fit the remington 700 stock so if it is an EB

    SNAG IT!!!!!!!
