7 WSM 180 Berger loads

Starting to gather some supplies for my new rifle. I ordered the barrel and with any luck should have it in a few months.

Here is what I have:

Savage Long Action
26" Brux barrel in 7WSM
Winchester Brass
180 Bergers


What powders and primers are worth using for this:

I have some H1000 and some H4381sc. Any other suggestions?

I do not have any large rifle magnum primers. Suggestions?

H1000 in win brass with fed mag primers. About 68 grains should do to start. Long action 7WSM... seat bullet length where you please according to rifling.

Alliant RL22, Fed215M, Win brass with the necks cleaned up, is my preferred combo with the 7WSM and 180 Berger.

What kind of FPS are you guys seeing?

I would guess 2900ish.

I see my accuracy node about 2950 fps

Mine is a Savage Long action with a 27" Brux chambered in 7-300WSM.

Best load so far is:
Norma Brass
Fed 215M
66.6gr H1000
180gr Berger
jammed .005"

2950fps...This load is hot though. Work up slow.
