I have a 6 x 47 on the way and looking for some loads to try. Will use for target and deer rifle. Thinking about using 105 amax or 95 berger. Bench mark barrel 9 twist thinking of 25" length. Wondering which powders would work best.

Should be something in the N550, N160 or N560 range, fairly slow stuff, especially for the heavier bullets. IMR or H4350 would be some other choices, but something within that burn range.

My powder of choice for my 6x47 with 105 grain Speer's has been H4350. Re17 shoots ok but H4350 seems to always do a tad better. For the 85 and 90 grain non-lead bullets both work just as good but I also have had great groups with H414. I have had great luck with the 85 grain Speer BT on antelope. Tom gun)
