Heskethprithard, I don't know Joel # right off hand, however, make a post on this site asking for Joel Russo's number, and you should get a quick response. I owened an A-5 built by McMillan, it was an awesome stock and worth the wait. However, had I known about Joel, I would have canceled the order and went with his stock. I would have received it 20 weeks quicker and much cheaper. He was going to build me one of his A-5 replicas, and I was going to have him paint it Matte black. However, I was laid off from my job and had to cancel the project. Joel was excellent to work with and very understanding. If I were you, I would have Joel build an A-5. Look at Dead Beats picture. His stock is one of Joels' A-5's. Joel makes a number of different types of A-5 stocks. He makes the standard A-5 and a couple of others that have a wider forend ect. Look at that stock in Dead Beats picture, it's absolutley awesome!!! You can paint it any color you want. I saw a completed rifle with one of Joel's A-5's painted matte black, it looked great. The next time I want to build a rifle around the A-5 stock, I will have Joel build one, I wont even think about McMillan. From what I have heard, Joels' stocks perform just as well. I might be wrong, but he might even do bedding work for you if you are using a Remington 700 action. I am not sure on this, but I think I remember him saying he beds too. Anyway, good luck with your project and stock. Wildcat
