Does anyone have any experience with the 6,5x47 Lapua ?
I'm having a hunting rifle built in this caliber with a relatively short barrel of 22 inches and I'm very interested in knowing what performance I can expect.
I saw 5 or 6 6.5x47 Lapua articles on the 6BR website and those loads could then be tried on Quickload and the barrel length varied, if you have the software...it is available from Ed Dillion at NECO. CR Rains [email protected].... I too have an action and stock started towards this cartridge
Flat shooting round! out of a 26" barrel with 1:9 twist shooting 139 grain lapua scenars. I have a 200 yard zero with .025 at 100 clicks. At 500 yards I'm dropping 83 inches and compensating with 83 clicks. I been pulling under 3 inch groups at that distance
