6.5x284norma accubonds??

Everyone seems to be out of berger 140grn hunting vlds so I picked up some 140 accubonds I plan on shooting out of my savage predator hunter I was wondering if anyone has had good luck with them for a long range bullet?

I couldn't get them to shoot as good as the 140 Berger HVLD out of mine.

You mean Nosler Accubonds ? Accubond - Nosler - Bullets, Ammunition, Rifles, Brass, Reloading Data, Hunting, Shooting, Reloading, Load Data

It looks like a decent bullet. About 20% lower BC, but still decent (over 0.5).

Grafs has the Berger match bullets including the 140 match hybrids in stock (0.618 BC). Before they did the hunting bullets all that Berger had was the match bullets and plenty of people used then to successfully take game.

Roger that what I should have said was 6.5 accubond out of a 6.5x284norma.

accubonds are great bullets. Not near the BC of berger but the accubond makes an excellent hunting bullet! I was shooting the berger out of my 6.5x284 savage predator hunter but will be switching to either the accubond or accubond LR

Why the switch if you don't mind me asking? That or accubond sounds like it'll be alright but I guess only time will tell. I been keeping an eye out for them and the bergers but seems almost like finding gold at the end of the rainbow. I know the lr accubonds are not out yet but I hope everyone will let us know when they are in stock (yeah right)
