6.5 WSM neck diameter

Can anyone tell me what the neck dia is on a standard 6.5/300 WSM? I am having problems with rem brass being to thick. I got a standard reamer from Dave Kiff thinking I would not have to neck turn. If I knew I was going neck turn I wouldn't have waited 3 weeks when they had a tite neck in stock.

I'm guessing one of two things happened. Dave may have "oopsed" and built a tight neck reamer or the reamer is based of Winchester brass(?)

Perhaps before you invest a ton of work, get a hold of some win cases and size the necks to see where you end up.

Thanks for the reply. I checked some other brass and seems the rem brass is a little thicker than the others. I'm setup to neck turn just didn't want to. I turned 20 and 90% had less than 1\4 of neck cut. there was no cut on 4-5. The price you pay for cheap brass.
