6.5-284 OAL

Guys I need a little help and also see under gunsmithing... Does anyone have a number on a OAL of a 142 ULD 6.5-284. From base of brass to the tip of bullet or with a stoney point. Checking to the tip I have 3.024 OAL on a 142 I think I need to have the throat machined a little deeper,,,????? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif

oal for MY gun is : 2.983 for sierra 142 ; the 139 scenar is 2.960 ; and 140 berger is 3.014. the 6.5-284 is a custom proposition so your may differ.
