6.5-284 case

I have a 240 Badger (a shortened 6-284) and I am looking at the 6.5-284 Lapua brass to size down for the obvious reasons but it looks likethe head is built different on the Lapua brass than the 284.

My question is will the Lapua brass work in the gun once I size it down?

Should work just fine, it's just a standard reforming process. The cases from any manufacturer will/should fall within SAAMI/CIP specs, though where they run those tolerances within that spectrum may vary slightly. You should be just fine with this one.
