.50bmg short barreled velocities? anyone know?

    curious to know what you're getting thought the chornograph on the shorter barreled guns with 24" barrels and shorter. any grain bullet and or loading please. im not gonna believe the 25-50fps drop per inch theory. too much variables to do that. looking for real world data.

    The US navy used to use a lot of 16" 50 cal guns. Think they generally ran around 2600 fps . . . and had very, VERY high BCs! :D

    Seriously, if you've got some load data, be happy to run it thorough QuickLoad for you and see what it predicts.
