.50 x114mm?

My buddy found the Russian 14.5 x 114mm machine gun round and some stats on it. 14.5x114mm - Gunpedia
Ever hear of someone necking this thing down to .50?
It ought to be really fun! 34 - 3500 fps (w/750gr A-Max) and supersonic to two miles by my calculation.

Interesting! Anzio iron works does a 50 on the 20mmx103 vulcan (which is similar in dimension to the 14.5x114 mm russian)

Should have a devistating effect on African game. I wonder if its legal for hunting in Africa? Considering a 20mm is a cannon round! Hence the name,"20mm Vulcan Cannon".

Penetration should not be an issue...its the weight of the gun thats not practical. Pretty sweet though!
