Ya wish I could send you one. The issue here is the herd is not getting thined out at all. Lots of private land and the DMAPS are suppossed to be so land owners will let other people on there land to hunt, but it dosent work that way at all. I own 4 acres but I cant realy hunt on it, its mostly road frontage. My neighbor ownes 350 and lets 14 guys hunt it, but its very well managed (took me 3 years to get invited and I'm on doe patrol only). In comparision the land accrossed the street is 2000 acres and 3 guys hunt it and the lot to my left is 400 and one guy hunts it. The land onwners will not let anyone else in there one group pays the other guys is just a dick, and thats just my area Silverback will echo this in his experience. A friend of ours own a farm here in town lots and lots of land he gets to hunt one small corner behind the barn. The rest goes to guys who have the money to pay for the land. Its a hot topic as some of the bucks in our are can go over 200 inches and its a very rich area we live in and we are both just avarage guys.
