Alright I need some of you smarter than me and maybe with a ballistics program handy.
So here are my choices I ordered the cutting edge raptor in the 259gr Socom, and also the 295 gr raptor.
So this gun is built to shot short range and be as bad as possible in that range. Really 50 yards will be my max range most of the time.
258 gr Socom raptor. 2028 fps., min opening speed 1400fps.
295gr raptor 1889fps. Min opening speed 1600fps.
Now these are showing no pressure and may be pushed harder.
When talking to them they really pushed the 258gr. Mainly because that's what they made it for. boasting the long range capability of it. Now I bought it for short range and have no intention of shooting over 100yards ever. After stating that to them they said either would work fine. So what would you guys use and why. Most of the shots I take with this is only 30 yards.
If you had to pick what would be the meanest of the two.
