375 meplat trimer and custom funnel

I was reloading some 375 cheytac rounds today and needed a meplat trimmer and a good funnel so I went to my shop and this what I came up with

Question: How much difference there between meplat trimming vs not trimming on that large of a bullet?

Also, how is it ensured that all bullets are of the same length?

I have interest as one of these days I'll limber up my 375 for some mile or two shooting.gun)

The trimmer gauges off the junction of the baring surface and ogive of the bullet and make the bullet to bullet BC more consistent. I also measure barring surface length with 2 comparators. These 2 steps make a measurable difference in accuracy past 600 yards

I have plenty of time on my hands to get bullets prep'd.

I'm 'dreaming' about learning just how far I can actually shot with this rig.
