I actually own both now started with the edge in a 28" pipe would swear you could fill it half with sawdust and shoot great. My gunsmith told me it was a sweet chambering and i have to agree. Now i have a factory 338 rum i put on a de brake, basix trigger and B&C stock. Im sticking with the sierra 250 grain bt spitzer and getting some awsome groups with it using 96 grains of H-1000. I had trouble first day out working loads from 95-97 grains shooting 1.5- 1 3/4 groups. I came home seated the bullet out farther, changed rest, and beared down got a group at .318, .900, and .605. Im very happy with that for a factory barrel. I am hesistant to try the 300 thinking i might have to much barrel wip. I plan on taking it to Co. this fall as a Lr carry rifle. Mike
