I went out and tested some loads I put together for My Savage 110FCP, this handloading stuff is all new to Me but I have gotten some great info from folk's on here and other places. here are some I shot today.

I was also shooting some rounds I had loaded with 300grOTM's over 100gr US869 with a C.O.A.L. of 3.781, had some sticky bolt issues but no brass stuck in the chamber, did however have one case neck split. This is the 3rd firing for all My brass (HSM).

I had taken it to My Smith a few weeks ago and had Him polish the chamber, the marks are really thin and continuous the whole lenght from groove to shoulder and they go all the way around the circumference of the case. I'll take a picture of one and see if they will show up.

Do you FL resize? The inside of your resizing die might need to be cleaned or polished.
I do, I use the RCBS two Die set. The markings on the cases are more distinct after firing though, thats why I was wondering if it's a Brass issue. Like I said I'm new to this so every bit of info is invaluable.

Only way to tell of its your die or not is to take a new unfired case and resize it to see if there are any markings on it. I imagine that when you fire it the markings are more pronounced because the brass is getting stretched. I have only been doing this for 7 yrs myself so I am no pro either. There are some guys on here with a ton of knowledge and hopefully they will chime in but try what I said so you can narrow your problem down.

Try to get the chance to shoot over a chronograph to check your speed against the book loads my 10 fcp was showing signs of pressure at min book loads with h1000 and matching max load velosity so be carefull of running the loads too hot.
