[QUOTE="Broz, post: 265157, member: 7503"] Thanks Roy, I guess my satisfaction comes from when I was racing, tuning, and building Nitro engines. You can't win a championship with a one round wonder. So if it is happy, consistant and not killing it self. Practise your driving skills and go get em.:D I am still shooting the load Joe Starnes worked up when he built the rifle. The plan was to increase the powder after the cases were all fired once. But the field test and the repeated performance of the rifle leaves me happy. So I just enjoy a real shooter that I don't feel a need to mess with. In stead I spend my time busting rocks and steel for practise with cold bore shots. I am using only 91 gr of H-1000 with a CCI 250 mag. I have two chronys that conflict so all I can tell ya is it's around 2750 and that lines up well with my exbal program using .768 for a BC on the 300 SMK. I see alot of people use 92 gr with the .338 Edge but I have never felt the need to push it up just for a few FPS. Even though I have plenty of room in the case still. If I get the urge to tear stuff up, I have a custom 25-300 Weatherby Mag I built back when I was on my Velocity kick and never turned knobs. :D Here is a VID my son made of us busting a few Speedgoats with her. Magnus was on the spotter and camera. I have learned a lot from him. You get around him and Joe with one of Joes rifles and it is impressive to say the least. Enjoy.
