Hello
I want to load this bullet in my rifle 338 wm, 24 "barrel.
I have reloader 17 and norma brass.
Is this bullet good for 700 yard shots?
What speeds can I expect with reloader 17?

My 24 inch 338 wm shots the 230s just over 2900 with excellent accuracy with imr 4350 I figured it good to 800 yards

I have a couple boxes I plan on using jnminw, once I shoot the rest of my loaded 225 SST's. Plan on using similar load with Reloder 19. The 225 set runs right at 3000, the eld-x only needs 2900 to match trajectory out to 700+. No need to change my custom turret if I can find a good node around 2900.

You guys should try the 250 Berger Elite. With the short bearing surface, they will run within 50' of a 225 and shoot flatter and hit harder
Some of Steve's Hammers would work great as well!

Which of the 2 bullets is more expansive?
work reloader 17 with berger 250gr?
I can also get vihtavuori powder. What do you advise me?

regards

No one knows yet because the Atips haven't been tested but I expect that they will be good long range game bullets.
I don't have a WM but I don't think you might get some great velocity out of RL26 or N560. I've heard 560 is not very stable though. Some people think 26 isn't but I have not found that to be a problem under 80 degrees.

I am working up the same load. How many grains of powder? What COAL so they fit in your magazine?
