338 RUM Long shoot

I have literally made hundreds & hundreds of one shot killls with SMK bullets.

That's 52gr SMK bullets, of course. No one ever told the groundhogs that they weren't varmint bullets.

At least in total number of SMK kills I've got you biggame hunters beat hands down.

I still would like to know if a 250 gr bullet going 3016 fps out of my 338 RUM would
not drop until it passed the 250yd mark and then drop 6.8 at 300 yds

sr90 I have loaded those 300 SMK bullets to 2750 fps and figured it on Sierra Infinity Five and they don't drop more then 7.25" at 300 yds but my 225gr bullets only drop 5.79"
at 300 yds. I know it's better to shoot them to find the drop but I don't have a place to shoot thats 300 yds long.

have any of you ever tried the .338 250 smk on ground hogs im pushing them at 3100 fps out of a 28.5 inch barrel in a 338 RUM,thanks,keith
