I use once fired .338 Lapua Magnum brass in forming my wildcat, and thus far I've gotten 6 reloads on some real hot loads, so yeah the brass lasts longer. We also have Bertram Brass available from over here, which is just as good and a lot cheaper when you buy it from his shed door. I'm picking some of this up in a few weeks to see how it goes in my wildcat. So it really depends on what you are looking for. The 338 LM is a STD round so "factory" stuff is available for it over here, the EDGE is a wildcat, as such the dies and such are generally more expensive over here. If your builder is 100% APRS then you may be stuck with the Edge, but it'd be worth a call to them to see if they would do a .338LM. Either one will ruin a Sambars day at distance if you hit em right. Just use a decent bullet on them as the SMK's tend to pencil through unless you trim the nose to expose the hollowpoint. I have to trim the SMK 375's to flatten and expose the nose or they just act like a solid.
