.338 Hornady Match bullets on game performance.

I've read tons of praises of sierra and Berger match bullets on game. How do the hornady's stack up on deer and elk? I'm shooting a .338 RUM. I'm not really worried about close range bullet blow up. (it is a big heavy bullet)I'm more worried about expansion at long range. They seem to have a bigger HP than the sierra's and the 250gr Hornady has the BC that is way over the other's. I'd like to be able to load through the mag and I'm not sure the mag gives me enough length to run the 300gr's. Thanks, Aaron
