338 Excalibur built on a Aztec Arms 338 Action with a 29 inch Bartlein barrel. Set in a McMillian stock that has pillars installed and action has been bedded. The 338 Excalibur will push 300 grain bullets over 3100 without pressure signs. The scope in the pics is not included. It has a Savage 338 110 BA muzzle brake installed that is included. Asking 3500.00 Will load 100 rounds and install your optics and sightin out to 2500 yards for 400.00. The rifle has a 3.850 clip that will hold hunting rounds that are 3.850 or shorter. I've also have a Savage 338 Excalibur built on a 338 Lapua action that I will sell for 1500.00. It has a Savage barrel that I ordered from Savage. I've shot under MOA out to 2500 yards. It takes 24 mils to shoot out to 2500. I have not shot this rifle past 300. It has only been sighted in. I did not want to shoot it more than that, because some will not buy a rifle with more rounds shot in it, but it shot well under moa at 300 and it can shoot over 3100 with 300 grain Bergers. I have no doubt it will shoot as well or better than my other rifles. I use a Vortex Razor with a 40 moa base. I'm having a 60 moa base made for this rifle and it will come with it. A good Nightforce scope will work just fine or any scope with 25 mils of adjustment.

I might add that I live at 4200 feet in elevation and it takes 24 mils to shoot 2500 were I shoot, but at sea level it would take much more so every elevation is different. If I put a scope on for someone or someone sends me a scope to put on the rifle, I will work up the load and shoot it at my elevation and if you are using the same Shooter Balistics program I use it can be set up so no adjustments need to be made, just let your Ipad or phone do the work for you. If I were to buy the scope, I would sell it for my cost.

Price reduced as much as possible. 3050.00 for Aztec action Excalibur and 1300.00 for Savage Excalibur.

Here are pics of the 338 Excalibur Savage. Built on the FCP action. Doesn't come with bottom metal or brake. Has about 100 rounds shot. The target shows 4 shots made, one after the other, with no shots to get on the target. The 587, 1287, and 1800 yards were the first time shot at that distance. They are all cold bore shots. I used my phone with the Shooter ballistic program. The barrel is a 110 BA barrel without flutes ordered from Savage. It has shot sub MOA out to 2500 yards. The rifle had a Vortex Razor on it when it was shot. It still has a Ken Farrell 40 MOA base on it. The barrel is not stainless as was never blued so it looks a little rough. I was not concerned about looks only how it shot.

What Is THe Stock On The Savage No Bottom Metal Brake Or Barrel Finish? Wouldn't It Be Cheaper To Buy A Savage Fcp And Have It Rechambered ThaN Fix These. No Disrepect Ment, Just Wondering.

You can not use FCP bottom metal on the Excalibur. It is npt long enough. You can not chamber a 338 Lapua in a Excalibur without cutting off the treads 1/4 inch then the nut will nut fit. You can only shoot the Savage as a single shot. A FCP will cost at lest 1300.00, a barrel 200.00, a stock 200.00, chambering 150.00 and so on and so on and so on. Buy a brake for this one and go shoot if you want a 2500 yard rifle.
