338 cal 300 grain Lapua Scenar?

I noticed they are not cheap. Just wondering about anyone's field tested BC and performance on game.

I have read many reports of no expansion on game, but I have not tried them.

I have heard on here many times,not good for game. I have a friend shooting 250's out of a trg and he had a one hole group at 200.

@ sinclair intl the scenar 300gr are $5 over Bergers and around $10 over SMK so I don't really see a price difference.

I have to admit I have not priced them lately but buying in bulk and the last time I looked, I figured .55 for smk, .70 for bergers, and last I looked .80-.90 for the scenar. That is why I figured them as more expensive but more importantly: since they are rumored to be less effective as a hunting bullet compared to the others mentioned. I was not really shopping around for them. just noticed them on the sidelines.
