In the next few years I am hoping to pursue a Brown bear in Alaska, I have a 33 Nosler rifle and have been looking at loading either a 275 Swift a-frame or 300 grain accubonds. Since an outfitter would not be keen on a client shooting probably farther than 300 yards and more likely a lot closer why not use a large for caliber bullet for greater penetration And damage. The fastest loads for the 275 Swift are 2500-2633 fps and the 300 Accubonds are 2500-2606 fps so these are very comparable to a 375h&h In similar bullet weights. I have StaballHD, Retumbo, IMR4831, RL22, RL25, H4350, IMR 7828 to work with. Does anyone have any experiance with these two bullets in a 33 Nosler? A lot of people believe the swift bullet is good Brownie medicine, opinions, ideas or experience ?
