30cal Berger 210gr VLD

Has anyone used the hunting VLDs? how well do they preform?

I don't shoot them but my buddy does. Great accuracy, good expansion and they don't fly apart from 300 Win velocities. I've killed about a dozen elk and deer with the 7mm 168 VLD's and have good confidence in them, I wouldn't worry about shooting anything with the 210 VLD's from a 300 Winchester.

I shoot the 190gr Berger in my 300wm. They shoot very accurately at all distances I care to shoot. I've shot deer and elk from short range (200yds) out to moderate range (460yds) and in between...all one shot kills. I've not yet had a chance to take a live shot at long range, but they have performed admirably on what I have shot.

I have been hunting with them for years now. Many many deer, antelope, Elk, an aoudad ram, black buck, Bear, from 60 yards to 1000. Never tracked a one.

No worries.
