308 @ 100 yds with 155 Scenars

Was out today with the 308 test shooting some 155 Scenars @ 100 yds. I didn't expect this kind of postive results out of a factory rig.
The accuracy, SD and ES were outstanding!

Nice shooting there Al. Scenar are excellent paper puncher. It is also my bullet of choice for my 308.

I sure like paper targets constructed of recycled paper which don't tear and show clean surgically cut round holes.

I havnt experimented too much with my load but it had phenomenally low SD & ES and the accuracy ,,,,well, it doesnt get better for me.

IMR 4895 produced almost similar accuracy but the velocity was about 30
fps slower and the SD & ES were slightly higher
Guess a little more powder would get me into same velocity range.

This rifle also shoots the 175 SMK very well @ 2625 fps averaging in the low 3's at 100 yds. which I thought was impressive but these 155 Scenars are even more outstanding.
