Hey guys, I am starting a LR build of a 300WSM that I had laying around. It is being built on a 700 Trued/Blueprinted action, 29.5" broughton Barrel. Do you think it is possible to get a 210 JLK VLD-LBT to fly around the 2950 mark? and the 190 JLK to fly about the 3000 mark???? I should also mention that it is a single shot action so I am not worried about repeat shots.

28-30" barrel, F 210 primers and Norma MRP powder will and is routinely doing that with both bullets.

You want a reamer cut long enough in the throat to seat the bullets out. My suggestion is go to Pacific Tool and Guage, speak with Dave Kiff and tell him what bullets and ask for a min SAAMI no neck turn with throats for 210s.
