Hunter is by Ramshot and the burn rate is similar or close to that of H4350. I have a couple of 1-pounders but have not personally used them yet. Check this out >>> https://www.shootersforum.com/handloading-procedures-practices/85215-ramshot-hunter-powder.html I have been using the RL17 on my .300 WSM for 3 years now without any issues with 215 Bergers in the adverse weather conditions of Montana. As far as temp sensitivity goes, all powder has the temp zone (seems to be around 70-80F or so for the most part) that might drastically change/affect it. It's an old post but a good read from a very reputable source; check out #2 of http://www.longrangehunting.com/forums/f28/powder-temperature-sensitivity-31096/ When I was developing load, the best velocity/accuracy was generated as follows: 1. RL17 2. MagPro 3. H4831SC 4. H1000/IMR7828SSC 5. H4350 Like I said previously, YMMV, but don't be afraid to try what you have in hand. The H4831SC remains as my go to powder for most of my loads. Good luck!
