I wasnt' there, so I don't know how well shot placement was. I know my .257 Wby uses a bullet not much larger than his .240 Wby, and I have absolutely no issues with killing deer. I shoot vitals shots right behind the shoulder. Most I've ever had one run is about 40-50 yards.</p></blockquote><p></p>
