300 wsm & varget powder ??

I'm going to load some up for a friend of mine . He shoots the 300 winchester Short Mag . This is the only powder that I have to try so if anyone uses this in their WSM I would like to have your load data.

Varget is not a known good powder for the WSM.

Take $25 and buy some H4350 or RL17.

Hey Bigbuck, you should P.M. Shortmagman, and or Mphstigerfan. Theyve cooked up a load with Vitovuri ??? that is putting bergers into quarter inch(.2??) and smaller 3 shot groups. (like .09?-3shot group) Out of a FACTORY(bedded and lightened trigger) WINCHESTER Model-70 Coyote, 300WSM! I saw the pic. Its amazing!

May be worth lookin into, as theyve tried a ton of bullets, weights, and powders.

how is this for the 300 SMK with 168SMK's

Try RL17 in your 300wsm. It works great.

Also, consider going with a heavier/higher BC bullet like the 208/210 grain bullets.
