OK, Hope your sitting down. My second one in a million rifle. These are the actual numbers shot this morning. These groups were shot in the middle of testing several rifles and all the other numbers were acurate so I know these are. 87 grains Magpro with the 180 grain Cutting Edge C21 bullet shot a three shot average of 3376 fps out of my standard tikka t-3 light 24" barrel. Group was 1.36" at 400 yards with four fps spread. 87 grains magpro with the 180 grain C32 bullet averaged 3361 fps with a 2.42" 400 yard group. 87.5 grains magpro with the C21 bullet averaged 3409 fps with a 2.28" group. All bullets were loaded to the recomended seating depth. 1.034" plus case length for the C21 and .984" plus case length for the C32. No pressure signs with any of these loads. Accurate web site lists 85.5 grains and I found this to be a light load in this rifle. This is nearly 200 fps faster than I have ever shot my other three 300 win mags accurately and safely. This is just like my oddball 300 wby that shoots crazy like this. So two rifles in over 40 years of building guns that make no sense. But the good thing is they make no sense in the right direction. One of the forum members is coming over to shoot with me this week and I will let him come on here and verify it. I have been on this forum for ten years and everyone knows I just write down the numbers. I was hesitant to put this on here but decided to and see if anyone has any idea what would make a rifle shoot like this.
