I have a 300 Weatherby with a 26 inch barrel and a 1 in 10 twist. I am reloading using Weatherby brass with Redding type s bushing dies. Using RE22 and CCI250 caps. with 190 grain Burgers. Run out is held to .002- .001. Have a Leupold 4.5X14-50MM with AO on top. I am currently getting 3 inch groups at 400. Would like to try 500 and then work up to 1000. How do you think this combo would work at such a distance on a gong? This long range target shooting sort of starts out slow then grows into a monster and it will not leave you alone. It sort of consumes you and that's all you end up thinking about all day every day and you can hardly wait to get to the range. Is this normal? Help Cheers & Tighter Groups: Eaglesnester
