I've been loading and trying different powder charges and different bullet weights also different bullets depths for my new Sendero 300 RUM and have come to the conclusion that this thing is a BEAST!!..To make a long story short, I have loaded 3 different bullet weights 165gr-180gr and 200 grain using 3 different powder charges for each bullet. I used the data from the newest nosler load data book edition#7. As far as depth goes ain't got much choice but to go with the 3.600 OAL so it will fit in the magazine. Tried some 3.550 OAL but didn't see a lot of difference in the 2 bullets. But as far as the bullet weight and Retumbo powder charge, the gun liked the heaviest powder charge and the heaviest bullet the best!!..My gun seems to like the 200gr accubonds with 91.5 grains of powder the best and didn't do too bad with 180gr. ballistic tips with 93 grains of retumbo...To me this gun is truly a beast!! The harder I push the gun the more it likes it. Has anyone else that owns one of these animals seem to notice this too?? baydog :D gun)
